Coming in 2018

R18LabQMS was initially launched in March 2013 with version 1.0, now in over 30 states, three countries, several state agencies and universities, we are now working on version 2.0 that will significantly enhance the user experience.

After nearly five years of working with users and accreditation bodies, this version will streamline the way you manage your quality management system even more. The beta testing phase will begin in late December and with plans to launch v2.0 in March 2018.

The public site for R18LabQMS will be updated with more content and resources to better understand the QMS process and future developments of the application.

Versions

We have made 15 version changes to the application since its inception and we are currently on v1.9.5.1.  Version changes are made based on user experience, changes to the AASHTO R18 Standard, and comments and feedback from accreditation bodies.

User request for additional functionality

While this may seem simple enough (and sometimes it is) when changes are made to the application there are processes that we must go through to make this happen. We review all requests to determine if a significant number of users can benefit from the change, and we ask if it is a requirement by either the AASHTO R18 standard or an accreditation body. Once we make the decision to move forward on an upgrade, the work begins. There is work with the development team, testing and implementation. We encourage all users to provide feedback.

Subscriptions changes

To date, there has not been a pricing adjustment to the annual subscription since its inception. Our goal was to develop and create a viable product with a proven platform over time before making any adjustments to the subscription model. That said, effective January 1, 2018 there will be a pricing adjustment on all renewals and new subscriptions.

The following subscription rates will be effective January 1, 2018.

Primary Lab $2,575

Satellite Lab $1,550

Primary Lab – AI Member $2,050

Satellite Lab – AI Member $1,240
