What’s new in R18Lab QMS version 1.5.1?
There is now a ‘support’ link in the application. You will find the link in the upper-right corner of the application if you have any questions or need assistance with the application at any time. Use the support link to submit your questions and comments to us, we will try to respond within 24 hours or next business day. This update also includes a confirmation message after the question or comment is submitted.
Equipment procedure history tab
You will now see this tab along the left-hand side of the application. It will contain the procedure history for each piece of equipment as categorized by equipment category. In our lab this was the “filing cabinet” that would store all completed procedures for on-site inspections. All roles in the application, primary lab managers (PLMs) to technicians, will have access to this procedure history. If you enable AMRL assessors to view your QM before the on-site inspection, assessors will also have access to this procedure history section.
This new feature added to the application will provide information on certain items that may require more explanation. You will find help bubbles in the Equipment Inventory Record and Users sections with more to come in future updates.
Minor changes and fixes
Equipment Inventory Record – we changed the wording on the date selection for the next calibration or maintenance due date.
Procedure Evaluation – we made a fix to the date an evaluation was updated in the evaluation summary. We added an alert message for unsaved data.
User Roles – we made adjustments to who can assign roles and what roles can be assigned by each user.
